Why you should never upload your signature
Your signature is an identity credential — the thing banks and notaries use to verify you. Sending it to an unknown cloud server to "remove the background" is a real risk. FreeRemoveBG is different by architecture: the AI model downloads to your browser and the processing happens on your machine. The signature image never travels over the network at all.
From paper to a reusable digital stamp
For the cleanest result, sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, photograph it straight-on in good light, and upload the photo. The AI removes the paper background and keeps the ink, giving you a transparent PNG. Save it once and reuse it forever: insert it into Word or Google Docs above the signature line, drop it into a PDF field, or add it to your email signature.
Works for stamps, seals and handwritten notes too
The same flow digitizes company stamps, wax-seal impressions and handwritten annotations. Anything inked on paper can become a clean transparent overlay for your documents — for free, with no watermark placed anywhere near it.
